June 2012… This year a field of 16 players competed for the Trost Trophy, held at Crystal Palace Chess Club on 11 June. Two players finished in top position with 6.5/9 – Robin Haldane and Martin Smith. Robin emerged the winner after a play-off. Marek Turowski was third and the grading prize went to Carl Weeks.
